Music that taps into the American Songbook and the psychodelic fever dreams of pop culture. The Electric Tulpas have brought music to a cynical and snark starved public for over 50 years or maybe just a couple how can you know in our ever shifting reality. It's members are hard to see if you look straight at them but sometimes you can see them skirt the shadows in an abandoned venue. Their music may sound new or like something you had heard in your bedroom on a weak transistor radio. They are now and they are then. They are tomorrow and they are nowhere. They are unknown but famous among some of the worlds greatest musicians. They are few yet they are many. Some of you were once among them.
A darkly hilarious satire of children’s music, served with a manic grin and a trail of cartoon destruction. The Electric Tulpas take aim at Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales, spinning a sugary soundtrack into a warped ice-floe of chaos, violence, and winking nostalgia.
With its sing-song melodies colliding head-on with absurd, twisted lyrics, this isn’t your grandma’s record player
A high-speed punk-dance explosion straight out of the Batcave, channeling the neon absurdity and kitsch brilliance of the 1966 TV classic. The Electric Tulpas blast through a surf-rock-meets-sci-fi-punk frenzy, tipping their cowl to Adam West’s deadpan delivery and Robin’s endless exclamations. Be yourself but if you can't be yourself be Batman!
A retro-fueled novelty ode to TV’s most gloriously unhinged space villain, Dr. Zachary Smith from Lost in Space. With tongue planted firmly in cheek and a wink to 1960s camp, The Electric Tulpas deliver a psychedelic show tune straight from the galaxy of satire.
Combining vintage sci-fi vibes, theatrical vocals, and a mischievous musical arrangement, this track blasts off into absurdity with style. It’s part tribute, part roast, and all fun—just the way Dr. Smith would not approve.
